The cavity is prepared with either the dental hand-piece or the Air Abrasion Systemor a combination of both. A shade of composite resin restorative material is chosen to match the existing tooth, which is then treated and cleaned with a special chemical. Layers of liquid bond are placed between the tooth and the composite resin. The composite resin is then shaped cured (set) and polished. Restoring the form, function and aesthetics leaves the tooth ‘looking like new’.
